The opportunity to shop, socialise and catch up with friends old and new has always been an important part of the Skin Two Rubber Ball weekend; 2008 is certainly no exception! This year the Skin Two Expo has been replaced with a new venture: the LAM Skin Two Special. Two days of shopping, entertainment, workshops and fun in the heart of London.
Located very close to the West End, tourist attractions, and served by excellent public transport links – our home for two days will be the University of London Students Union. We are hosting two floors of shopping, stage shows, practical workshops, chill-out areas and all the sights and sounds you have come to expect from events during the Skin Two Rubber Ball weekend. The venue also ensures that all food and drink will be reasonably priced to allow you to save your pennies for the fun things in life.
Sat 6th Sept 12 noon to 8pm
Sun 7th Sept 12 noon until 7pm
£12 in advance; £15 on the door
The London Alternative Market is London's community-supporting market project held on the first Sunday of every month. The LAM is a great place to come and find out about alternative lifestyles, to meet and socialise with those with similar interests. We welcome all lifestyles including straight, bi, gay, lesbian, poly, TVs, TSs, Masters, Mistresses, slaves, ponies, maids, pets, ABs and even those that are just mildly kinky or just plain curious.
Our events are run in support of good causes within our communities and are open to anyone with an open mind and tolerance of others peoples' lifestyles. Come along to find out about the latest fashions, clubs and events in and around London. The LAM Skin Two Special will be held in support of the Spanner Trust to help with the ongoing battle to clarify the legal status of consensual SM play and support our right of expression.
Absolutely no admittance below the age of 18; no photography (including camera phones) without a photographers pass and; no admittance after 6:30pm. The venue staff and event organisers reserve the right to refuse admittance if they feel you will not enjoy the event or if you are likely to adversely affect the enjoyment of others. We put the safety and comfort of our guests, stall-holders and team as our highest priority.
